Obituary of Lena Moroso

MOROSO, Lena Margaret (nee Morgan) - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Tuesday, February 16, 2010. Daughter of the late Felix and Gina Morgan. Beloved wife of the late Ugo Moroso. Cherished mother of Richard (Sharon), Marlene Yanni (David), Ronald (Audrey) and Debra Lefave (Keith). Dearly loved grandmother of Kristin O'Shea (Kevin), Gregory Yanni, Ashley Moroso, Jacob and Lauren Hunter. Survived by her sister Emma Denardo (Izzy) and her brother Ray Morgan (Joyce), her brother-in-law and best friend Lidio Moroso and her brother-in-law Ermi Moroso (Joyce). Predeceased by her brothers Leno Morgan and Fred Morgan (late Marie). She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, especially her "Bingo Buddy" Lois. Lena was a 25 year member of St. Veronica's Parish Catholic Women's League, a life-long member of the Elettra Marconi Club and an avid bowler for 67 years. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Friday, February 19, 2010 from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Veronica's Parish (559 Douglas Street) on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Ron Ambeault officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations made to ARCH or St. Veronica's Parish Memorial Fund would be appreciated by the family.
