Obituary of William Young

YOUNG, William 'Bill' - Peacefully with his family by his side at Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Wednesday February 17, 2010 at the age of 78 years. Dear father of Shara Young, Kerry Young (Rebecca) with mother Sharon Young, Donald MacDonald (Susan Greco), Billy MacDonald, Norman, Rhonda and Marsha with mother the late Margaret MacDonald. Adored grandfather of Victoria and Alexa Young, Angela Petkovic (Lou) and Michael MacDonald, and many others. Son of the late William and Dorothy Young. Dear brother of Gerry Young (Mary), late Shirley McCrea (Donny), Jack Young, Gayanne Davey (Reg), late Ted Young (Sandra), Tina Behrens (Skip) and Reginald Young (Marsha). Bill was the uncle of many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25 where he was a lifetime member. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) in the Chapel on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m with Reverend Bruce McLeish officiating. Spring inurnment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations made to A.R.C.H. would be appreciated. The family would like to invite everyone to a reception following the service at the Royal Canadian Legion (96 Great Northern Road).
