Obituary of Elsie Braido

BRAIDO, Elsie - Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, March 14, 2010 with her family by her side, at the age of 81 years. Loving wife and best friend of Mario "Woody" for 61 years. Dearest mother of John and Enrica, Dan and Rae, Philip and Ada. Most cherished grandmother of Allan (Kerri), Erin (Paul), Melissa (Jeremy), Amanda (Patrick) and Lori (Murray). Elsie was the beloved daughter of the late Giuseppe and Teresa Antonello. Dear sister of Enzo and Bunny Antonello, Marie Antonello (late Bruno) and the late Lelia Zorzi (Eli). Dear sister-in-law of Enzo and Brenda Braido, Ray "Skeets" and Onja Braido, Gloria Gunn (late Walter), Vera (late Al), the late Gino and Evelyn, the late Eddie, the late Orlando, the late Lena and Laurie Simonini and the late Eda Vernelli (William). Cherished Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Elsie will be fondly remembered as a very special grandma and dear friend to many. Friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Monday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Veronica's Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Ron Ambeault officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, St. Veronica's Parish Fund or Sault Area Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
