Ronald (Ron) Richard Duchesne
Lost his brave fight with cancer and fell asleep in the Lord on Monday May 3, 2010 in his 63rd year. He leaves behind his loving wife Joelle (nee Desgroseilliers) and sons - Joe (Lucy) and grand children (Tommy, Emma, Ella) of Cornwall, Andre (Sarah) and grandchildren (Mack, Emily) of Sault Ste. Marie, Jean-Pierre "J.P" (Tammy) of Sault Ste. Marie. Ron enjoyed working as a miner for INCO for 34 years and Maximum Mining for 2 years. He was an avid fisherman and loved taking his family out on fishing excursions. He had a great sense of humour, even till the end, and was a very generous man to friends and family. He will be deeply missed by his family as they wait to see him again when his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ calls him from the grave at the Second Coming. Visitation at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758), Wednesday May 5th from 5pm to 8pm. Service to be held at the Cornerstone Seventh-day Adventist Church, 407 McNabb Thursday May 6th at 11a.m. Donations to Algoma Residential Care Hospice (ARCH) in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
