UCHMANOWICZ, Antoni (1926 - 2010) - Passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2010. To be united with God and reunited with his late wife Maria. Born in Kozowa, Poland to Jan and Katarzyna Uchmanowicz. Loved and respected Dad (Pops) to John (Judy), Karol (Valerie), Tony (Ann) and Wanda Marquis (Reno). Special grandfather to Tammy Ryan (Sean), Anthony Uchmanowicz (Jennifer), Marcy Clark (Mitchell), Gregory Nicholson (Terri), Erika Uchmanowicz, Julie Robertson (Steve), Antoni Uchmanowicz (Katrina), Andrew, Aaron and Alyssa Uchmanowicz, Märia and Gerald (G-Joe) Marquis. Papa to Katie, Sarah, Brittney, Rylee, Michael, Aidan, Isabella, Matthew and Charlotte. Brother to Leonia Kielar (Stan) of Sault Ste. Marie and the late Karol, Josephine and Wacek of Poland. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 from 5 to 9 p.m. A private family service will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Wanda - Popsy, you and mom are my heros, overcoming many hardships, always optimistic. Your love, strength and dedication to the family was unshakable.
