Obituary of Giovannina Pighin

PIGHIN, Giovannina - With heavy hearts, the family wishes to announce the peaceful passing of Giovannina Fabbro Pighin in her 95th year on July 1, 2010. Cherished wife of the late Albino; daughter of Angelo and Santa; and the last surviving sister to 11 siblings. Giovannina will be lovingly missed by her sons Jim (Ernesta) and Fausto (Lynne). Nonna will also be lovingly missed by her grandchildren Laura (Bob Boston), Tami (Joe Melisek), Dean (Stacie), Jeff (Holly) and Heidi (Dave Ghantous) and Bis-Nonna of Matthew, Emily, Maddie, Mitchell, Maxwell, Jacob, Zachery, Dominic and Daniel. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home on Sunday July 4th, 2010 from 6 -9 p.m. Funeral mass to be celebrated at St. Veronica's Catholic Church (559 Douglas Avenue) on Monday, July 5, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Father Eric Panike officiating. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum followed by a reception in the parish hall. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Veronica's Hall Fund or the Diabetes Association (Sault Ste.
