Dear Nelli and Fata families, I wish to express my deepest sympathy for your sudden and great loss. I will always remember Ang as a very special and genuine friend during our "growing up" years in the Soo. Even though we have not been able to keep in touch in our adult years, our friendship was never forgotten. I knew as we were growing up, that Ang would have a wonderful life filled with love and joy. She had so much to offer along with a loving family for great support. I was very happy to see her again about a year ago in the Soo. At that time, I quickly realized that even after some 35 years had past, she was just as I had remembered in our youth -- she remained genuine and true to herself. She will undoubtedly be greatly missed, as all "special" people are. I am grateful to have known her and for the friendship we shared. May you all find comfort in the sweet memories. My thoughts are with you all, during this most difficult time .... Rest in peace dear Ang...

My heart is aching with sadness at the loss of "my Ang", as I always called her. I was part of her Northern Credit Union Family, from Kirkland Lake and while I did not have pleasure of meeting her family, it felt like I knew you all anyways because you were all the most important part of her life and spoke of you often with love and I could always hear the smile in her voice or emails when she did. Working in a branch outside of the Sault left me on several occasions where I would need help or when I would try to figure something out, Ang was always just a phone call away and always so helpful. It was her nature to help others and to do it, not because she had to, but because she truly cared and it was important to her to help me and the members of Credit Union. It was not just a job to Ang, it was a passion to do her best...always and so naturally. I became ill a couple of years ago and have faced many challenges with illness and being unable to work. "Angie Baby" (another fond nickname) stood so strong with me, send me emails to check in on me and gave me so much support and encouraged me all the time. She let me know that I was not going through this alone, and even though I was not at Northern any longer, we were friends for life and not just with work connection. Her words of encouragement and support became part of my recovery process and when I would get an email from her, it was like a huge smile in my inbox. In Ang's last email to me, her closing sentence was this..."The challenges that you are dealing with have showed me just how fragile life is." Ang was one of a kind with a heart of gold and soul that was so beautiful. To say that she will be missed is understatement...this world will not be the same without her. She has touched so many people with her love, kindness, positive attitude, generosity, and I will remember the sound of her laugh forever. I am so sorry that I cannot travel to be there to say farewall to My Ang but in my heart and and soul, I am there...standing proudly with all my Northern Family. I have been blessed and privileged to have known and loved such an amazing woman. My deepest condolences to all of you and also to her Northern Family. Auntie Ang, You touched my life more than words can express. I still remember the first time my parents took me to the Sault how badly I didn't want to go, but the moment I got there and I was welcomed into your arms, and your home, I never wanted to leave. You treated me as if I was your own daughter, every moment I think of you a smile comes to my face, I love you very much. I feel so honored and privileged to have you in my life, you are my angel now and I will forever cherish every moment I got to share with you. Your passion and love for life, family and friends, is something I will never forget and will always look up to. Uncle Rob, Jennifer and Adam I so wish I could be there with you, you all mean the world to me and I am thinking about you always, your wife and Mom was so proud of you and I will never forget the smile all of you bring to her face, she is truly a remarkable woman with a remarkable family.
