STANGHETTI, Freda - Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Van Daele Nursing Home on Wednesday, September 21, 2010 at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Naldo Stanghetti. Mother of Ron (Claire) and the late Shirley Oswin (Fred). Nonna of Jeannine Crossley (Ray), Cal Oswin (Cynthia), Vicki Lewis (Brent), Joanne Oswin (Kylie), Natalie Oswin (Cher), Tina Oliana (Rick) and Randy Stanghetta. Bis Nonna of Alana, Christopher and Nadia Lewis, Jennifer and David Crossley, Noreen and Alison Oswin, Maggie and Steven Oliana and Ezha Oswin. Sister of the late Erzi and Ontario Giuliani and Rena Delvecchio. Sister in law of Mel Stanghetta Sr. (Sue) and predeceased by Hugo Stanghetta (Rena), Adal Signoretti (Tilio), Olga Paris (Dan), Remo Stanghetta (Edith), Elda Pianosi and Michael Stanghetta Sr. (Marie). Special aunt to Doris Belanger. Freda will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Friday, September 24, 2010 from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 3 p.m. Memorial donations to A.R.C.H. or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. www.northwoodfuneral.com
