Obituary of Irene Healey

HEALEY, Irene 'Rene' - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our much loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother Irene 'Rene' Healey on Tuesday November 16, 2010; 5 days short of her 94th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Robert Healey. Dear mother of Joan Armstrong (Stan), Victor Healey (Eleanor), David Healey (Geraldine) and Malcolm Healey (Shirley). Mother-in-law to Jackie Healey and Janice Johnston. Loving grandmother to Linda Sirie (Larry), Chris Polutanovich (Nick), Allison Kitson (Tom), Lynne Healey, Kevin Healey (Diana), Cari-Ann Strickland (Collin), Shawna Young (Tim) and Derek Healey (Melissa). Special grandmother to Stacey White, Linda Carlson and Jeffrey Johnston. Great grandmother to 15. Predeceased by her brothers Fred, Bill, Bob and her sister Mary. Rene is survived by her two sisters Ida and Edna, her three sisters-in-law Ethel, Annie, Dolly and Lucy Healey (late Harry) and her special niece Pauline Davison and many nieces and nephews in Yorkshire, England. Rene was a tour director with the Sunshine Travel Club for 25 years and will be missed by many friends at the Finnish Resthome especially her friend Doris Printess.
