NIEMI, Leo Comfortably, after a long and difficult twelve year struggle with Parkinson's Disease at the F. J. Davey Home on Monday November 29, 2010. Dear husband of Donna Barbeau Niemi and the late Jean Ziegler. Father of Henry (Perri). Grandfather of Jess and Jacob. Son of the late Saima and Henry Niemi. Special father of Fred Barbeau, Chuck Barbeau (Susan), Terry Barbeau, Wendy Barbeau-Robb, Laurie Barbeau (Jim Fuller) and Jim Barbeau (Elaine Deluzio) of Belleville, ON. Grandfather of Matthew, Karen (Doug), John (Caroline), Jennifer, Christopher, Roberta, Steven, Meredith, Ryan, Connor and Sean. Great-grandfather of 4. Brother of the late Elaine Prosen (late Rudy). Much loved brother-in-law of the late John Gallagher (late Martha), the late Monica Barbeau (late Lloyd), the late Jim Gallagher (Anne), late Bud Gallagher (Jean), Bunny Antonello (Enzo) and June Nanne (late Terry). Leo will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, neighbours, friends of Parkinson Support Group and his friends of Bill W. In keeping with Leo's wishes, a private family funeral was held at the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) .
