SCHRYER, Rene - Passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at the Ontario Finnish Resthome at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Alice Schryer. Dear father of Edmond Schryer (Joy), Cecile Darlow (Henry), Patsy Murdock, (George), David Schryer (Nathalie) and Paul Schryer (Celine). Loving grandfather of Gregory (Sonja), John (Maria), Lisa, Kelly (Lance), Jeffery (Manon), Colleen (Jason), Marcia (Derek), Tyler and Alexa. Rene is survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Rene will be fondly remembered by his many brothers, sisters and in-laws. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Saturday, December 18, 2010 from 12 noon until time of funeral and committal service in the Chapel at 2 p.m., Reverend Mr. Len Monico officiating. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to A.R.C.H. would be appreciated by the family.
