MERRIFIELD, Wendy - Suddenly but peacefully at home with her family by her side on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at the young age of 49 years. Beloved partner of Michael Abbott. Devoted mom to Crystal (Mike), Bob and John (Rebecca). Special nana to Korbin, Kameron and Jordyn. Daughter of the late Curtis and Margaret Merrifield. Cherished sister of Vince Merrifield (Tammi), Randy Merrifield (Rachelle), Maggie Scott (Bill), Brian Merrifield (Marnie) and Jason Merrifield (Marla). Wendy will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Wendy's wishes a private family gathering will be held. Memorial donations to SAH Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to Jen and Cathy from Bayshore, Kendra from We Care and Rosemary from Oncology. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758).
