Obituary of Luzia Hollmann

Hollmann, Luzia Viktoria (Lucie) - Peacefully, with her family by her side, at the F. J. Davey Home on Monday, March 21, 2011 at the age of 80 after a valiant fight with Alzheimer's. Cherished wife of Roland for almost 52 years. Devoted mother of Heide (Anthony). Much loved Oma of Amelia and Franc. Predeceased by her parents Hermine and Klement Wegertseder, brothers Daniel, Artur and Josef, sister Ida and sister-in-law Inge. Treasured sister of Kathi (Emmerich), Klement (Marianne), Magda (Gert), Marita (Anton), Christa and Gerda (Helmut) all of Bavaria, Germany. Special sister-in-law of Gerhard (Milla) and Peter, also of Bavaria, Germany. Lucie will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Special in-law of Alba Marrato. Lucie was an avid gardener, knitter, sewer and pastry chef. She always had a story to tell or an infectious laugh to share. She will be terribly missed. A private family funeral will be held on Friday, March 25, 2011, Father Francis Ezenezi officiating. Memorial donations to the Davey Home Walkway to Health or to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
