Obituary of Joseph Raymond René Leclerc

LECLERC, Joseph Raymond René - Died peacefully at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH), Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, surrounded by his family on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at the age of 77. Son of the late Ovilda Leclerc and Marie Blanche-Aurore (Lacasse) Leclerc of Mattice, Ontario. Beloved husband of Rose Gagné Leclerc, married for 53 years. Cherished father of Jacinthe (Francis Arnold) of Montreal, Pasquale of Sault Ste. Marie and René-Cyr (Wendy Kompon) of Thunder Bay. Loving grandfather of Amber and Dustin Leclerc and Laurier Hart. Dear brother of Pauline Drouin (late Hervé) of North Bay, Ghislaine Cappellani (late Adelche) of Campbell River, B.C., Gabriel (late Geraldine Halverson) of Wawa and Gilles (late Shirley Smith) of Kelowna, B.C. Predeceased by his sisters and brothers: Simone Burke (late Len), Laurent (late Marguerite Beausoleil), Jeannette Stankivicius (late Vince), Yvette Fréchette (late Phil), Robert, Yvon (Marie-Marthe Vallée) and Armande Haman (Bertrand). Fondly remembered by his brothers/sisters-in-law of the Gagné Family, Angel Côté of Quebec, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In respecting René's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will take place at Greenwood Cemetery Urn Garden. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) would be greatly appreciated by the family. Special thanks to Dr. S. Buehner, Dr. C.
