Obituary of Stefan Majerczak

MAJERCZAK, Stefan Leon - Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital after a 4 month battle with Brain Cancer. Surrounded by family on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at the age of 62. The circle of life was completed as Papa safely guided his twin granddaughters to us 12 hours later to give us great comfort and love. Stefan is survived by his loving wife Rochelle of 38 years. Beloved father of Jennifer Duncan (Tom). Joey and Jeffery Majerczak. Adored papa of Tyler, Ryan, Quinn and newborn twin granddaughters Lily and Lexie Duncan. Predeceased by his parents Leon and Josephine Majerczak of Toronto. Dear brother of Marie Beaudoin (Germain) of Pickering and Barbara Hukish (Jamie) of Toronto. Brother-in-law of Father Jack David, Lorraine Fera (Ernie), Patricia Caron (late Bert) of Sudbury, Brian David (Sue) of Whitby and Lois David of North Bay. Stefan leaves behind many nieces and nephews and his dear friend Ken Eva of Cobourg. Many thanks to Drs. Spadafora, Catania, Buehner, Wytsma and the amazing nurses in 1B Palliative Unit for their incredible kindness, love and dignity they showed Stefan in his final days. Friends may visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday, April 8, 2011 from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial mass at St. Gregory's Church on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 10 a.m. with Father Trevor Scarfone officiating. Inurnment at Holy Sepluchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Elks Oncology Van, SAH Palliative Care Unit or the SAH Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated.
