Obituary of Anthony Fera

Fera, Anthony Joseph (Tony) July 1st 1929 - May 21st, 2011 Peacefully at ARCH, surrounded by the love of his family, in his 82nd year. Husband of 50 years to Anna Fera. Son of the late John and Gaetana Fera. Dear father of; the late Cathy, Anna Parker (Chris), Janice, Steven, Michael (Maria), Nancy Robson (Mark) Brother of; late Adeline Cerenzia, late Marie Pettallia (late Sosto), late Joe Fera (Ethel), late Alfred Fera (Joyce), Theresa Fera, Connie Belsito (late Angelo), Eda Perna (late Quinn). Son in law of; late Angelo and Sarah Chicarelli. Brother in law of; Irene Scali (late John), Eva Thibodeau (Henry), Velma Fragonese, Rita Lauzon (Bernard), Ronald Chicarelli (late Ingrid), Sandra Cook (Charles). Beloved Grandfather of 12. Great Grandfather of 7. Much loved uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be remembered for his 52 years in the automotive repair business, as well as his many years of volunteer work for the Canadian Cancer Society, Relay for Life, the United Way, and a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He will be sadly missed by his close friends on the golf course. Funeral mass will be held at St. Gregory's parish on Wednesday, May 25th at 11a.m. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum.
