Dear Jack, family & friends,
I took care of Ada in her home for over 3 years. We had a lot of memorable times & laughter & story telling. Ada loved dancing & musicals & we watched a lot of them.
She was always excited by all the lovely gowns & dresswear. We always sang along to anything we knew & laughed at the words or lines we missed. We enjoyed many good meals, BBQ's, dinners out & occasionally guests in:) The smile is for you Jack & for those who remember little birthday parties or get togethers we surprised Ada with.
Jack, your Mom was so proud of you. We talked of you all the time.
Remember her love, your Dad's love, & all of us who send you love now.
To all:
Jack called his Mom every day of her life, sometimes twice a day;
(psssttt, I wasn't allowed to answer the phone that time of day haha).
Ada had good reason to be proud of Jack. We spent many hours talking about her beloved Bill & the dances, their times at "camp" on the island, summers with Jack there. We often would discuss his accomplishments & how he was so good to her & Bill.
She loved all the cards & calls she would receive from Jack's friends & family.
Let's not forget Linda (Hess). Linda & I became her daughters through all our visits & time spent with Ada. She loved bragging about her daughters to other residents, & of course bragged always about her son, Jack.
Jack is modest & private in many ways, so, I will leave any other disclosures to his discretion, but, want to add a verse from Proverbs: "many daughters (sons) have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all". This sums up Jack for those of us who know him well & know the depths of his caring heart. God Bless you Jack!
Ada, we will miss you & remember you with love.
