Obituary of Lionel Roussell

ROUSSELL, Lionel (Windy) - in his 86th year after a short battle with cancer. Loving husband and companion for 59 years to Yvette (nee Schryer). Devoted and respected father to Gary, George (Yvonne), Keith (Trudy), Wendy (Robert Burns), Denise (Stan Richards) Gerard and adopted daughter Adele (John Richards). Cherished grandfather to Erin, Renae, Kelly, Christopher, Justin, Chad, Nicole, Raymond, Carmen, Paul, Jordan and great grandfather to many. Dearest brother of Marion (Lou St. Jules), Donald (Shirley), late Bert (Alecta) and late Lorne. He had many brother and sister-in-laws with which he had very close special friendships. Worked for 42 years at Algoma Steel and was an avid lover of hockey most of his life. He was a dedicated fan to the Soo Greyhounds and held season tickets for 70 years which he shared with his brothers. He enjoyed many years of hunting, fishing and listening to music with his family. He passed away in the house he built with his family by his side. He will be greatly missed by all of us.
