Obituary of Kirk McLeod

McLEOD, Kirk - After a short but courageous battle, Kirk passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, June 17, 2011 at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband of Jean (Corbett-LaFleur). Loving father of Blair (Wendy), Wayne (Jen), Trish Arruda (Carlo) and Greg LaFleur (Angelika). Special Papa to Gavyn (Amela), Caden, Emma, Jordan, Ryan, Cole, Ethan, Samuel and Charlie. Son of the late Ivy and Seymour McLeod. Brother of the late Keith McLeod (Dorothy), Marjorie McMillan (late Don), Vera Blackburn, Ruth McCaig (late Jack), Glen McLeod (Gail), Stan McLeod (Heather) and Beverly Hammond (Keith). Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Dorothy MacKay, Gerald McLeod (Barbara), Fred McLeod (Arlene), Gary McLeod and Wayne McLeod. Brother-in-law of Louise Smith (Ken), late Ervin Corbett (Margaret), late Doreen Hurdle (late Floyd), late Ernie Corbett, late Jerry Corbett (Eileen Stanley), late Loretta Shiells (John) and Karen Scott. Kirk will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
