Obituary of Pasquale Chiarello

CHIARELLO, Pasquale "Pat" - "When you lose someone you love, you gain an Angel." It is with saddened hearts that we announce the death of Pasquale Chiarello in his 78th year. Devoted husband and best friend of Maria for 57 years. He is survived by his loving children Frank Chiarello (Anna), Lina Valente (Cosmo), Sal Chiarello (Connie) and Rose Drewitt (Paul). Special Nonno to Antoinetta Burzese (Gino), Joey Valente (Melissa), Maria McChesney (Gordie), Maria Huckson (Chris), Pat Chiarello (Ashley), Pasquale Chiarello, Laura Valente (Nana), Angel Ceglie (Danny), Kristina Chiarello, Katrina Foisy, Taylor Foisy and Mercedes Drewitt. Great Nonno of Arianna, Cassandra, Samantha and Sammy Burzese, Ella and Lola Valente, Carter, Colton and Chloe Huckson, Sienna and Amare Valente Boetang, Jake Denny-Chiarello, Isabella Ceglie and Milania McChesney. Son of the late Francesco and Ursula Chiarello. Son-in-law of the late Pasquale and Rosaria Pagnotta. Brother to the late Guerino Chiarello (Giuseppina) of Argentina, Paulina Pucci (late Adamo) of Italy, Rosina Barone (late Mario) of Sault Ste. Marie, Antonio Chiarello (Isabella) of Sault Ste. Marie, Alfredo Chiarello (Maria) of Sault Ste. Marie and Settimio Chiarello (Teresa) of Italy. Pasquale will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. His love and devotion will always be remembered by his children. His family was the most important thing in his life. He looked forward to going on trips and spending time with his 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing with his nephew Joe Chiarello and looked forward to playing cards, sharing a glass of wine with his brothers Tony and Alfredo, mushroom picking with his sister Rosina and late brother-in-law Mario. Friends may visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Michael Williams officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepluchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or ARCH would be appreciated by the family. Special thank you to all the Angels at Palliative Care.
