MITCHELL, Zakea "Cōc" - Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at the F.J. Davey Home on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Edward Alexander Mitchell. Cherished mother of Wayne Mitchell (Vicki), Brenda Filipetti (Donald), Ronald Mitchell (Barb), Nanci Mitchell, Donna Barsanti (Harvey), Bruce Mitchell (Debbie), Eva DeBoer (Gary) and Jason Mitchell (Lisa), predeceased by baby Brian Mitchell in 1949. Proud grandmother of Theresa, Todd, Carey, Kevin, Kim, Donna, Allison, Mark, Lori-Ann, Stacey, Dean, Rhonda, Thea, David, Chris, Kelly, Emily, Nicholas, Olivia, Stephanie, Kaitlin, Dakota, Nathan and Madison. Lovingly remembered by her 32 great grand-children and Zakea's special loving niece Karen Mauro and Jeannie Salamy, and daughter-in-law Sandi Mitchell. Dear sister of Sadie, Kay, Sam, Joe, Eileen, Rita, Mary, Eunice, Edith, James and Jackie. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7558) on Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Holy Trinity Church or Walkway to Health at F.J. Davey Home would be appreciated by the family. Deep gratitude to the staff of the F.J. Davey Home.
