UNGAR, G. Vaughan - It is with deeply saddened hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Vaughan Ungar at the age of 58 years. He leaves behind his wife and best friend Paula DePauli. He is survived by his mother Georgette Ungar (late Reginald), brothers Kim, Kurt and Jeffrey, sisters Kristeen and Karen, and their families. He will also be greatly missed by his Aunt Mariette Robinson and his many cousins, especially Gary and Sharleen and their families. Also mourning Vaughan are his brother-in-law Fausto DePauli and his family. His many friends and associates from his 24 years at Algoma Steel will also feel his loss. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre on Thursday August 25, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Gene Monin officiating. Memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. www.northwoodfuneral.com
