DEWAR, Lloyd Edward - It is with great sadness that the family of Lloyd Dewar announce his passing on Saturday, September 17th at Extendicare Van Daele. Born June 27th, 1918 to the late Peter and Nellie(Ellis) Dewar in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. Cherished husband of Geneva (Dunn) Dewar for 69 years. Son-in-law of the late Peter and Clarissa (Ladoucer) Dunn. Loving father to; Peter (Gayle), Lloyd Jr. (Gillian) of Keswick,ON., Debbie (Fred) Barsanti, Brian (Sherry), Valerie (Michael) Maich all of Sault Ste. Marie, ON. Adored grandfather of; Mark (Lori), Derek (Kim), Brock (Sandra), Scott (Chrissy), Jeff (Wendy), Aaron (Catherine) Barsanti, Clint (Amanda), Brad (Virginia), Kylee and Tyler Slobodecki. Special great-grandfather of Mitchell, Charlotte, Everett, Jarett, Dylan, Danny-Mae, Alexandra, Riley, Ethan and Matthew Dewar. Brother of the late Crawford Dewar (late Babe), and Roy Dewar (late Madge). Brother-in-law of Magna (late Fred) Selig of Appleton, Wisconsin, Frank (Ann) Dunn and pre-deceased by Azilda, John (Laureen), Bill (Ruby) and Bert (Elaine) Dunn. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre on Tuesday September 20th from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. followed by Funeral Service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on 3rd Line east at 1:30p.m. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
