Obituary of Madeline Johnson

JOHNSON, Madeline Alberta (nee McLeod) August 20, 1921 - September 26, 2011 - Madeline lived a blessed life and spent her final days surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born to Ida and Murdock McLeod. Beloved wife of the late Oswin Munro Johnson. Cherished mother of Rick (late Cathy), Randy (Mary Joan) and Greg (Eda). Special grandmother of Richard Johnson (Michelle), Nancy Slater (Steve), Michelle Phaneuf (David), Kendra Johnson, Christina Foster (Robert), Melissa Arnold (John), Steven Johnson and Bryce Johnson. Great grandmother to nine precious girls and boys. Sister of Dorthea Eddy (Roy) and the late Audrey Castle (late John). Madeline will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Patrick McManus officiating.
