Peacefully at the F. J. Davey Home on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 in her 100th year. Loving wife of the late William Ernest (Ernie). Much loved mother of Donald (Beryl), Dennis (Grace), Mary McCracken, Paulette Nikkinen (Ray) and the late Joanne Irwin (late Tom). Proud Gramma of Christine, Patrick, Michelle, Marianne, Dawn, Karen, Shelley, Shannon, Matti, Stacy, Lindsay, Tyler and Jeffrey. Special great grandmother of 25 and great great grandmother of 3. Friends may visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Father Paul Conway officiating. A private graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to the MS Society of Canada or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the wonderful staff on Apple 2 at the Davey Home for their loving and tender care of our mother.
