Obituary of Giuseppe Nicolo Sardo

Died unexpectedly in the Sault Area Hospital and lifted away on the wings of an angel on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 in Sault Ste Marie, ON at the age of 27. Giuseppe is left by his Father Nicolo Sardo and Mother Irena Sardo-Belsito with partner Vince DiBerardino. Loving brothers Rodolfo with partner Jasmine Torok "lil sis" and Santino Sardo. Loving Grandparents Lucia and the late Giuseppe Sardo, Rodolfo and Yolanda Belsito, his Aunts and Uncles, and his many cousins, family and friends. Jojo was born on August 14th 1989 in Sault Ste Marie. Jojo at the young age of four years old would be diagnosed with nefroctic syndrom (Kidney disease). Loving parents Nicolo Sardo and Irena Sardo-Belsito did all they could as loving parents to treat Joe's Illness. Joe would have to go to medical appointments regularly, his entire life when he was lucky enough not to be hosptilized. His kidneys finally gave out in 2010 and he would require dyalasis. Which constantly made him weak and sick. Joe managed to get on the kidney transplant list and was waiting for a kidney. During this 6 years he remained on dyalsis, but regardless of his illness his Family and friends would describe him as one who was full of life and living every day to the fullest, "When Joe would walk into a room you immediately knew he was there, he had a radiating presence you simply could not ignore." Joe had two loving brothers, Rudy Sardo and Santino Sardo. Though sometimes they fought like all brothers do, they truly loved each other, and family always came first. To his friends Joe was a great guy, a true inspiration and one who can never be forgotten. Joe was a classy man, he enjoyed the finer things in life, when he had the chances. Joe, however was not free from the other burdens of humanity. Though Joe had his struggles and problems, at heart he was a true saint who cared strongly for others and always tried to better himself as a human being. During Joe's incredible battle. The family would like to thank McMaster Sick Kids in Hamilton Ontario and Sault Area Hospital for their efforts, care, and dedication. The wake will be held on Monday, November 21st from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre located at 942 Great Northern Rd. 705-945-7758 A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 22nd at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception at 12:00pm till 1:00pm at St Veronica’s Church, located at 559 Douglas St. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jojos life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
