Obituary of Marie Bernadette Pauline Lalonde

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 2nd, 2016 just two months and two days after the passing of her husband Alban. Now free of the pain she endured for many years, Pauline has now gone to be with Alban and those she loved that passed away before her; her father Joseph Landriault, her mother Ėléanore Guérin, her brothers and sisters Marguerite, Thérèse (Arthur), Marie (Albert), Joseph (Thérèse), Gérard and Gabrielle (Eugene). She is survived by her children Sylvain (Maria) and Joanne (Vern) and her grandchildren Gianna (Matthew), Daniel (Hillary), Marc and Stephanie (Pascal). Pauline absolutely adored and loved her grandchildren and their love was sent right back. Pauline was the best mother and best friend to her daughter Joanne and will be missed terribly but never forgotten. Many thanks to staff and doctors at the Sault Area Hospital on 3B and 3C for the months of excellent care and to the staff at Tunnel Lake Extendicare Maple View also for their kindness and care to mom in her last month. She praised the care she received daily and how well she was treated and taken care of at those facilities. Pauline will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. It was Pauline’s wish to be cremated. Pauline would appreciate donations to the Sault Ste. Marie Soup Kitchen, Canadian Tire’s Jump Start Program, the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society or TAAG.
