Obituary of Giovanni Arcangeletti

ARCANGELETTI, Giovanni “Johnny” Guissepe - Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, December 9, 2016 in his 93rd year. Together again with the love of his life, Bianca Arcangeletti (nee Delfre). Devoted father of Frank (Monica), Christine (Ronnie), Karen (Rico Sr.) and Harvey. The best Nono to his grandchildren Kelly (Rodney), Amanda (Jay), Carla (DJ), Tianna (Anthony), Marisa (Marco), Rico (Romina), Franca (Jeff), Drew (Lori) and Joanna (Brad). Great “big” Nono of Julia, James, Teo, Francesca, Bianca, Brock, Isabella, Sophia, Rafael, Matti, Teija, Luca, Alaina, Alex, Ava and Milo. Son of the late Francesco and Antoinette Arcangeletti. Brother of the late Angeline Shunock (late George), Dorothy Kucher (late Nick), late Marie Travaglini (late Alessio), late James Arcangeletti (late Gloria), late Pauline Vresk and the late Jane Barsanti (late Harvey, late Howard). Son-in-law to the late Bondventura and Cecilia Delfre. Brother-in-law to Corona McNally (late Paul), late Remo Delfre and late Bruno Delfre (Dina). Special acknowledgment to Jenny Colizza (late Sam), Enzo and Fekee and their families for their support and friendship throughout the years. Johnny was a lifelong member of the G. Verdi Lodge. He will be sorely missed by countless friends and neighbours. He was an avid outdoors sportsman and loved hunting, fishing and picking mushrooms. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Monday, December 12, 2016 from 11 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 1 p.m. with Father Hamish Currie officiating. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
