Obituary of Giuliana Calvano

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our precious Nonna Giu. Giuliana was the love of Vincenzo's life, happily married for 58 years. Devoted mother to her two daughters Nadia Longo and Laura Trunzo and their husbands Jerry and Frank. Her grandchildren belong to her heart and soul: Carina and Zak O'Connor, Justin Longo, Jacob and Jessica Trunzo. Her life was truly blessed to have loved her two great grandchildren Keira and Valerie. Special Nonna to Madison Greco. Sister to Marcello Campagna (Josephine) and joining her brother in heaven, Ettore Campagna (Franca). Sister-in-law to the late Marcello Calvano (Anna); Alberto Calvano (Ida); and Natalino Calvano (Carmen) all of Italy. Loving daughter to the late Natale and Speranza Campagna; daughter-in-law to the late Livia and Guido Calvano. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family and friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Monsignor Victor Amadio officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the SAH staff on 3C who took the time to comfort her when she needed it. Giuliana was known for her beauty, gentle soul, kind heart and strong faith. With health challenges for both our parents, Vince and Giuliana were devoted to taking care of each other. In her final years, her smiles and laughter were saved for her grandchildren and especially for Keira and Valerie. Her kiss smudges will remain forever on our phones and computer screens. Our wish to our dearest Nonna Giu is this: May heaven offer you miles of gardens to pick flowers from, crochet needles, and feather dusters. May there be music and loving arms to welcome you. We know you will care and watch over your family as our special angel. Forever in our hearts, we love you.
