Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Mapleview Nursing Home on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. She leaves behind her loving husband Gordon Leonard Stone. Dear mother of Deborah Jean Burns (Randall). Grandmother of Valerie Jean King (David). Great grandmother of Zoey Marnie Jean Patton-Burns. Grandmother of Jamie Mae Burns. Great grandmother of Corbin Randall Elliot Burns and grandmother of Amanda Muriel Amond (Chris). Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service at Emmanuel United Church (224 Bennett Blvd.) on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Nancy Ferguson officiating. A reception will follow. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or Mapleview Residents’ Council would by appreciated by the family. We have so much gratitude to Dr. Marrack and the wonderful staff of Mapleview Ranger Lake and Harmony Bay for care and compassion shown to Betty, Gordon and our family.
