Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Van Daele Nursing Home on Thursday, January 19, 2017. Beloved daughter of the late Henry and Salome Thelland. Sister of the late Alfreda and Ulric Thelland (late Cecilia), Lorida (Rita) Russell, Lenora Periard, Raymond Thelland (Erla), Neil Thelland (Annette), Donald Thelland (late Katrina) and niece of the late Omar Thelland. Sister of Parmella Marrelli (late James) of Sault Ste. Marie. Rachelle will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. At Rachelle’s request, there will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Sault Ste. Marie on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Paul Conway officiating. Memorial donations are gratefully appreciated and may be given to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.
