Obituary of James Bedell

Peacefully at ARCH in the presence of his beloved son Jim Jr. on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the age of 65. Loving husband and best friend of Shari. Cherished father of Jim Jr. (Shelly) and Jeremy Bedell. Proud grandfather of Heather and Emily. Step-father of Matthew Zappacosta and Emily Murphy. Special Poppa to Aleeya and Joe Zappacosta. Predeceased by his parents Elizabeth and Fred. Big brother of Bill Bedell (late Karen), Lois Apaquash-Courchesne (David), Sandra Mcfarling (William), late Kim Yukich (late Brian), Debra Anne Black (Walter), Judy Crack (Calvin), Fred Bedell Jr. (Penny) (late Sonja), Terry Bedell (Trisha Lynne), Mary Fabbraro (Gino), late Timothy Bedell (Candice), Betty Jo Black (Donald), late Shawna (Scott) and Dawn Leonard. Brother-in-law of Ila Ford (Eric), Glen (Reta), Brian (Lisa) and John Hurley (Samerita). Loved uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Special friend to Ken Bonin and Jerry Frey. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to ARCH, Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to Dr. Buehner, Dr. Chang, the SAH Cancer Clinic staff, volunteers and especially Kristy for all their care and compassion.
