Obituary of Donald Peter Campbell

Peacefully at Algoma Residential Community Hospice (the ARCH) on Friday, February 24, 2017 at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Mary (Eve Kersey). Dear father of Helen (Mark Iarrera) of Montreal, Katherine (Marc Campbell) of Langley, B.C. and Jeffrey (Alissa Goudreau) of Kingston. Proud grandfather of Daniel, Anthony, Marigold, Jude, Isabella and Ania. Brother of the late James Campbell (the late Mary) of Kitchener, and Rebecca (Michael Thoburn) of Waterloo. Brother-in-law of Christina (Gerry Stricker), Jean (Richard Armstrong) both of Thunder Day, John Kersey (Priscilla) of San Diego, James Kersey (Christina) of Sault Ste Marie. Peter was a successful Hospital Supplies representative and after moving to Sault Ste Marie he became the purchasing agent for the Plummer Memorial Hospital. Peter enjoyed music and sang in many church choirs, Barbershoppers and Senior Singers. The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers from We Care and the ARCH. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Dr. David Zub officiating. Donations made to ARCH or Willowgrove United Church would be appreciated by the family.
