Joan and I were deeply saddened to learn of George's death this week. George was one of the original family physicians at the Group Health Centre and I had the privilege of working with him for 32 years. He was dedicated to his patients and provided excellent care to his patients throughout his professional career. Our sympathy is extended to his family knowing that his last few years were difficult for him and them.

Elizabeth, Greg and Lia - My sincere condolences on the loss of your father. I worked in an administrative capacity with the Medical Group at the Group Health Centre from Day 1 so had almost daily contact with your Dad over the 33 years I was there. He was a very warm and caring man and I always enjoyed my interaction with him. He was a wonderful doctor who never turned anyone away and was very much appreciated by his patients. I last saw him a few years ago when I sat with him at a Medical Group social function. It was so nice to see him again and catch up on family, etc. I remember all of you as young children. It's wonderful to see how successful you all are in your chosen professions. Your father was very proud of you! Again, my sincere sympathy. Carole Parton
