Obituary of Maria Sacchetta

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our loving gentle, wife, mother and grandmother on Thursday, March 23, 2017, with family by her side at the age of 88. Loving and devoted wife of Luigi for 56 years. Cherished mother of Frank (Liliana) and Angela Grandinetti (Gerry). Treasured grandmother of Marcus, Adam, Kayla, Brandon and Sierra. Predeceased by her parents Luigi and Antonietta Filosa. Dear sister of Adina DeRose (Luigi), niece Angela DeRose, late Salvatore and late Arturo, all of Bristol, Connecticut. Daughter-in-law of the late Francesco and late Angelina Sacchetta. Sister-in-law of Gaetano (Angelina), late Marietta Collia (late Luigi), late Peppina Lepore (Frank), late Michael (Lorraine), late Adolfo and late Mario. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Mom, we will miss your Sunday dinners, shopping excursions and all the help you have graciously given us through the years, especially with your grandchildren who adore you. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at Holy Family Parish on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Boguslaw Jaroszek officiating. Memorial donations to Alzheimer Society or SAH-Critical Care Fund would be appreciated by the family. Many thanks to Dr. Schamp and Dr. Fratesi for their care over the years.
