Dear Philip, Patti, Doug, Donnie and Lori
I am so sorry to see that your dear mother has died. I am currently in California but talked to her just a day or two before leaving and promised I would get out to visit her when I got home so now, as usual, I'm kicking myself for not making the time before leaving. Please accept my very sincere condolences.
Your Mom and your Dad were such wonderful neighbours for 45 years and even though I didn't see as much of her as I did your Dad, until after he and Bill had passed, I always knew she was there. Since then we would chat occasionally, either on the phone or I would visit, to catch up on neighbourhood news, family, etc. She was always so very kind and pleasant. I'll always have very fond memories of them both and our years on the Fourth Line.
I'm sorry I won't be there to see all of you at the reception to give you a hug but please know you will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Again, my sincere sympathy to all of you and your families.
Carole
