Obituary of Rinaldo Orlando

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Rinaldo Orlando at his home on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in his 86th year. Cherished husband of the late Francesca for 56 years. Dear father of the late Eugene (Estelle), Maria (Roland) and the late cherished Dina. Rinaldo will be missed by his dearly loved grandchildren; Elise (Lee), Erica (Brian), Emily, Aleisha, Amanda (Jorden), step-grandchildren Travis, Brian (Emily) and great-grandson Dean. Son of the late Eugenio and late Carolina Orlando. Predeceased by his sisters Maria and Ida, brothers Salvatore (Ada), Egidio (Maria), Francesco (Rosinella), Guido (Marietta) and Ernesto (survived by Angelina). Son-in-law of the late Salvatore and Agata Palumbo. Brother-in-law of Rose Brescacin (late Gino), late Pietro Palumbo (Carmela), Emma Turco (Luciano), late Francesco Palumbo (Rita) and Luigi Palumbo (Silvana). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Funeral mass to follow at St. Gregory’s Church at 2:00 p.m. with Father Alex Saurianthadathil officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to SAH Foundation, St. Gregory’s Church or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
