Obituary of Dolores Ann Cowan

It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected death of our dear Dolores. Dolores had a servant heart and it was truly reflected in all aspects of her life. She dedicated her career as a nurse, and was always caring for others. She was a very smart and incredible person. Her zest for life was evident in everything she did. She was known to have a great smile, a warm hug, and would help anyone who needed assistance at the drop of a hat.  Her greatest accomplishment in life was being a mother to two beautiful boys, McKena (13) and Camden (11) Cowan. She is survived by her parents Dolores and Percy Running. A loving sister to Terry-Lyn Beckman, David Running, Randy and Tanya Running. Beloved aunt to Brandon, Katelyn, and Robert Beckman, Gaige and Cale Running. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Special longtime friends also include Jill Ritchie and Cindy Depiero whom she loved like sisters. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday, May 5th, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Funeral mass to follow at St. Jerome Parish at 11:00 a.m. with Father Pat Woods officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made “In trust to McKena and Camden Cowan”.
