Obituary of Clarice Parker

PARKER, Clarice “Chris”-  Passed away peacefully on June 2nd 2017 at the age of 85. Loving companion of Walter Hammerstedt. Predeceased by her beloved husband John Robert “Bob” Parker, her sister Joyce and Bob Thomson. Loving mother of Pat (late Marcel), late Diane (Kent), Joey (Rod), Rod (Shelley), Joan (Kurt), late Ken (Patti), late Joyce, Carol (Roger), Judy (Dale) and John.Chris was truly honored to be a part of the loving Hammerstedt family. Proud grandmother and great grandmother of many. Dear sister-in- law of the late Bert (late Edith), Sophie (late Alan), Grant (Grace), late Eileen (late Harry), Mitchell (Claudette), and late Emily (late Ellis). Her traveling sister Marjorie Hoover will miss her dearly. Family and friends are invited to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 for a memorial service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Helen Smith officiating. A Celebration of life will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion (96 Great Northern Road). Memorial donations to ARCH or Shriners Hospitals for Children would be appreciated by the family.
