Obituary of Antonia Bernardo

Passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at the F.J. Davey Home on Monday, June 5, 2017 at the age of 96. Antonia is now reunited with her loving husband Salvatore.  Dearly loved mother of Ida Guercio (late Antonio), Eugenia Coccimiglio (late Massimo) both of Italy, Fiore (Pina), Tony, and Adam (Dora) all of Sault Ste. Marie.  Cherished Nanna of Nicola (Maria Loretta), Eugenio (Rosaria), Franco (Rosaria), Gaspare (Eugenia), Nicola, Toni (Dave), Sam (Grace), Kevin (Kathryn), Jason (Ashley), Melissa (Marco) and Ron (Sarah). Treasured great Nanna of 11. Predeceased by her parents Rosario and Fortunata Caputo. Sister of the late Guerino Caputo (Rosina), Paulina Bernardo (late Ernesto), Alfredo Caputo (Maria) and Ernesto Caputo (Maria) all of Sault Ste. Marie, ON.  Sister-in-law of the late Pasquale Bernardo (late Rosina) and late Rosaria (late Giovanni Perri).  Antonia will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.  Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday, June 9, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 12:30 p.m. with Father Ron Ambeault officiating.  Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum.  Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or ARCH would be appreciated by the family.  Many thanks to everyone on the 2nd floor Apple Orchard at the F.J.
