McLEOD, John Alvin – John Alvin McLeod was taken home into the presence of his Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ on Friday June 9th at the age of 86. Dearly beloved husband of Edna McLeod (Mills) for 65 interesting years, precious father of Marilyn McLeod, Karen Burns (Louis), Teresa Strickland (Phil), Paula Smith (McLeod) (Glenn), Grandpa of Kirsten (Dave) Laidlaw, Breanne (Jason) Smith, Ayndrea Campbell, Amanda Burns, Joelle Burns, Fraser Burns, Zachary Strickland (Esther), Abigail Watson (Jon), Allie Smith, Iain Smith.  Great Grandpa of Ethan, Sophia, Benjamin, Daniel, Ezekiel.  Dear brother of the late Margaret, late Donelda Campbell (Calvin), late Ron (Helen), Glen (Audrey), Edith Norbo (Sam), Helen Lawrence (Marshall), and Howard.  Brother-in-law to Morley (Betty) Mills, late Lorna (late Vic) Taylor, Murdena Taylor (late Joe), Earl (Corrine) Mills. Friends may call Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, June 14, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until time of memorial service in the Chapel at 12:00 noon.
