Obituary of Terry John Walton

Passed away peacefully at ARCH on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the age of 58.  Dearly loved husband and best friend of Denise Walton for 38 years.  Cherished father of Todd Walton (Nicky), the late Tara Walton-Leonard (Jeff) and Caleigh Pihlaja (Andrew). Papa loved and treasured his grandchildren Haylen and Ryker Leonard, Ryelind, Lynelie and Wyett Pihlaja. Brother of Bonnie, Robert (Donna), late Frances and Brian (Monique).  Brother-in-law of Carol (late Keith), Jan (Joe) and Peter (Marjoline).  Terry will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will be missed by his furry friend Sammi.  He lived to work in the construction world and will be missed by his work family.  Terry had a passion for the grill, so much so that he owned 6 and a few smokers too.  When Terry wasn’t on his motorcycle he could be found enjoying the outdoors at the cottage at 2nd Government.  Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Come and Go in the Reception Centre at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 12:00 noon until 2:30 p.m. Memorial donations to ARCH would be appreciated by the family.
