Obituary of Peter Smith

Our hearts are broken. The family of Peter Smith announces his passing at ARCH on Friday, July 21, 2017 in his 102nd year.  He is now reunited with his wife Elizabeth “Beth”. He lived life to the fullest and always said “Everyday you wake up is a good day.”  Treasured father of Bernie (Pete), Mary Ann (Bunny), Betty, Shauna, John (Verna) and Al (Cookie). Proud grandfather of Rick (Dolores), Bob (Teri), Chris (Dahlia), Victoria, Lorie, Kraig (Tina), Phillip and Linda. Great-grandfather of Ashley, Jordan, Mikayla, Liam, Elaine, Leyla, Ava, Caleb, Emily and great great granddaughter Leah.  Family and friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until time of memorial service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Thank you to the staff at ARCH, SAH 2B and 3B for the care and compassion shown to dad.  Words cannot express how grateful we are to Dianne for the wonderful care she provided.
