Obituary of Gisberto Policicchio

Peacefully in his sleep at his home on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at the age of 77.  Loving husband of Lina (Angela).  Dear father of Dino (Kim) and Doriana Smokowich (Carlo).  Loving nonno to Carlo Jr.  Brother of Teresa Gioia (Joe) Mario, Angela Vaccaro (Pasquale), Emma Mastroianni (Michele), Franca Vena (Guido), late Antonio (Rachela), late Gino (Maria) and the late Pina Policicchio.  Brother-in-law to Maria (Vladi), Mira (Salvatore), Maria (Pasquale), Emanuela (Palmiro), Stafania (Massimo), Lello (Gerarda) and Ivana (Renato) all of Italy.  Dear nephew of Pasquale Ruberto (Mafalda) and family. Gisberto will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.   Memorial donations to ARCH would be greatly appreciated. The family would like to give a special thank you to Mary-Lou and Frank Caputo Sr. and their children Angela, Frank Jr. and Paul (Nicole), also Claudio Gioia and our family friends Sam and Rina Carchidi and family.  Special mention and thank you to the first responders and officers Casola and Sweet for their professionalism and compassion.
