Obituary of Margaret Copeland

 Passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 in her 82nd year.  Reunited in heaven with her parents George and Sarah (Harbottle) Copeland, sisters Rhoda Hunter, Bernice Fisher (Stan) and brother William Copeland. Loving Aunt to Morris Fisher (Donna) of Wasaga Beach and Jane MacDonald (Brian) Sault Ste. Marie. Great Aunt to Joanne Fisher (Andre), Maureen Fisher of Gatineau, QC, Pauline Gaumond (Jean Guy) of Las Vegas, Jennifer Solmes of Vaughn, Suzanne Fusco (Robert) of Aurora, Julie Battisti (Mike) of Sault Ste. Marie, Cathy Chemeli (Salvatore) of New York City, Jennifer Ruscio (Manny) of Sault Ste. Marie, Marion Randall (Hunter) and Anne Hunter. Loved and cherished by great, great nephews and nieces.  Also remembered by long time friends Nancy Grexton and Lois Patrick. Margaret Anne graduated from the General Hospital Nursing Class of 1957. She was a nurse practitioner for 25 years at Algoma Steel. A Celebration of Margaret Anne’s Life will be held at a later date.  Memorial donations to the Pregnancy Centre will be accepted in Margaret Anne’s name at Northwood Funeral Home.  Special thanks to the palliative team of Dr. Anne Lee, Kim Timmerman, Dr. Natalia Kargbo, WeCare nurses who showed such great compassion to Margaret Anne, CCAC, the amazing staff at Pathways and to friends and family for their kindness but most of all for their prayers throughout this difficult time.
