Obituary of Krahn Gisela
Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Mapleview Nursing Home, on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her beloved husband Siegfried. Loving mother of Irene Page (Richard). Oma of Lindsay (Gavan) and Jennifer (Thom). Great Oma of Claire, Sydney, Maëlle, and Alexander. Gisela will be missed by her nieces, nephews and extended family. Gisela loved nothing more than to give to others, she was a kind and generous woman in every way. She was always happiest in the kitchen, or garden, sharing the fruits of her labour with friends and family. A private family celebration will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758). A special thank you to Dr. Cziffer, Gisela’s family doctor. To the staff at the Sault area hospital 2B and Mapleview Nursing Home-Harmony Bay, thank you for the care and compassion shown to Gisela and our family.It will always be appreciated.
