Obituary of Ruby Janet Evoy

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Sault Area Hospital. Dear wife of the late Darcy. Cherished mother of Nelda Rimmer (Marty), Laura McKee (Ken) and Bill Evoy (Judy). Adored grandmother of Steven, Jared and Lauren Rimmer, Jonathon and Kaitlyn McKee, Amy (Jonny), Christopher and Bryan Warick.  Great- grandmother of Connor, Blake, Emily and Lucas. Predeceased by her parents Lawrence DiPasquale and Angeline DiPasquale-King, brothers Bob DiPasquale, Larry DiPasquale and Gary King, sisters Marie Raymond (late Wayne), Margie MacIntyre (late Ken) and Marlene Rouleau (late Jeff).  Much loved and respected sister of Doreen Collins (late Andy), Angela Blake (Ron), Joe DiPasquale (Linda), Betty DiPasquale, Jim DiPasquale (Lucy), Butch King (Shirley), Audrey Comeau (Stephen), Ross King (Helen), Hal King (Lisa) and Bunny Pateman (Larry). Sister-in-law of the late Bud Evoy (Ella-Rose) and the late Glen Evoy.  She will be fondly remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Saturday September 23, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill McLean officiating. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Echo Bay.  Memorial donations made to ARCH or Extendicare Van Daele would be appreciated by the family. Special thank you to the staff at Van Daele 2nd floor, and the staff at the Sault Area Hospital 3rd floor, especially Mariella for their care and compassion shown to Ruby.
