Obituary of Martha Parker

PARKER, Martha “Joyce” – After 87 happy years the family of Joyce Parker are saddened to announce her passing. With broken hearts she leaves behind her children Cindy, Cheryl, Chris, Patrick, Kim, Rick and their spouses. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Brooke, Kylee, Justin, Tanya, Patti, Pam, Cody, Erik, Leah, Samantha, PJ, Preston, Greg, Krista, Brandie, and Matt as well as her great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband George, and her siblings Jean, Beatrice, Edith, Bill, Walter, George, and Carol. Over the years she enjoyed spending time bowling, playing darts and spending time at Basswood Lake. Her legacy will be continued through the surviving family. Cremation has taken place, friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (705-945-7758, 942 Great Northern Road) on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Salvation Army, the Humane Society or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
