Obituary of Joseph Eugene Cerenzia

CERENZIA, Joseph Eugene-  With broken hearts we announce the passing of Joe, surrounded by the love of his family at the Sault Area Hospital on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the age of 72.  Adored husband and best friend of Michelle for 51 years. Cherished father of Brent Cerenzia and Renée Harrison (Doug). Special grandpa of Michelle Cerenzia-Martin (Lucas Manchur), Danielle Desanti (Ryan), Michael Martin, Megan Cerenzia (Blake Sullivan). Great Grandfather of Kurtis Allen and Robert Desanti.  Predeceased by his parents Albert and Jean Cerenzia. Brother of Judy Munro (John Hayter) (late Tom Munro), Glen Cerenzia (Lynda) and the late Wayne Cerenzia “Amos”. Brother-in-law of the late Joanne LaPlante, Josette McDonald (Blaine), late Paul LaPlante (Debbie) and Mary Clare Szabo (Steve). Joe will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. A private family service was held. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705 945-7758). Memorial donations made to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.  A special thank you to the staff of 3C at the Sault Area Hospital, especially his nurse Chelsea and Dr. Saourine.
