Obituary of Edward Perks

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear father Ted on September 30, 2017 at Maple View.  We take peace in knowing dad is now reunited with our mother Margaret (Peggy 1980).   Loving father to Gail Nadeau (Ivan), Michael, Karen Perks and Keith (Kathy).  Will be forever remembered by his grandchildren; Curtis (Trisha), Ryan (Carolyn), Jasmine (Troy) Michael Jr. (Sarah), Thomas Weaver, Travis (Leticia), Robbin and Melissa (Tim).  Cherished great-grandpa to 17. Loving companion and friend for many years to Roberta.   Ted is survived by his sister Ann Kombargi, late (Frank) and predeceased by his 9 brothers and sisters.   Will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews.   Thank you to the staff at Maple View, Ranger Lake and Great Northern Retirement Home for their care, compassion and dignity shown to our father during his stay.  Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Phil Miller officiating.  Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
